Camping regulations for Kolbensrød Camping
1. THE LANDLORD MUST ALWAYS BE CONTACTED FIRST before decorating the assigned space, such as building platforms, setting up windbreaks, planting, trimming bushes, etc.
2. The base for platforms inside tents must not be higher than 4". Raising or lifting the caravan is not permitted.
3. Up to 15 m² of additional platform is allowed, in addition to the platform under the awning.
Platforms must be designed to comply with current fire regulations and required distances at all times.
Where wooden platforms cannot be installed due to fire distance requirements, alternatives can be used.
Platforms with dimensioned drawings must be pre-approved by the landlord before installation.
When vacating the space, the area under any additional platform must be restored to lawn at the tenant’s expense.
4. Only fabric windbreaks are permitted. Windbreaks must be installed according to current fire regulations and required distances. Windbreaks made of other non-flammable materials may be considered but require prior approval from the landlord.
5. Only one (1) awning may be mounted directly on the caravan/insulated awning. The awning must not be extended beyond what is permitted by current fire regulations and required distances. Awnings must be retracted when not in use. The tenant must apply for approval with a placement and dimension drawing to the landlord before installation.
6. All play in play areas is at your own risk! Children are only allowed if accompanied by adults, and it is the adults’ responsibility to ensure the children’s safety.
7. Extra tents on the “rental space” are not allowed, nor are party tents.
8. Check where your nearest fire post/hose is. It is marked with a red bucket; familiarize yourself with its use. After use, release the pressure before rolling up the hose. Important: Fire/water posts must not be used for play. The water post is for fetching water.
9. You are expected to keep your assigned space tidy. Grass can be placed in the designated (signed) area. Take the road to the left after the barrier, follow the road, and on the right side there is a trailer.
10. Waste must be sorted and disposed of in the correct container. It should be sorted into the following fractions: cardboard, food waste, plastic, glass, metal, and residual waste. Only household waste may be disposed of. All other waste must be removed at your own expense.
11. Playing and staying in and around the toilets is not allowed. Vandalism of toilets, the camping area, or breaking the rules will result in eviction.
12. Dogs must be kept on a leash, and dogs are not allowed on the beach. Please be considerate and use a bag! Dogs must be walked outside the camping area. There is a leash requirement from April 1 to August 1!
13. Car and motorcycle driving must be at low speed. No driving between 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Parking must then take place outside the area.
14. At the end of the season: Only the caravan/platform is allowed – everything loose must be cleared away. Remove batteries for smoke detectors and gas meters, etc.!
15. By showing consideration for each other and maintaining a pleasant attitude, the days will be more enjoyable for all of us. Talk to your “neighbour” before you start.
Fire safety regulations
All tenants are required to familiarize themselves with and comply with fire safety regulations.
IN CASE OF FIRE CALL 110 "RESCUE, ALERT, EXTINGUISH"
• There must be a minimum of 3 meters between residential units/camping trailers. In this zone, it is permitted to park a car, but it must not be used for overnight stays.
• It is not permitted to lay flooring, either on or above the ground, within the 3-meter zone.
• Fire lanes must be at least 6 meters wide. They must be completely clear. Parking, construction of terraces/decks, windshields, and similar structures are not permitted in this zone.
• Windshields are not allowed in the 3-meter zone. Where windshields are permitted, they must be made of fabric and be easy to remove quickly.
• A functioning smoke detector must be installed and a 6kg foam/powder extinguisher must be available in the residential unit/camping trailer.
• The use of open flames is strictly prohibited, such as fire pits, etc.
• The use of grills is permitted, but caution must be exercised when using charcoal/disposable grills.
• It is not permitted to place a grill directly on combustible ground (such as grass) or bare rock.
• Make sure you know where the nearest fire hydrant is located and familiarize yourself with its use.
These points are based on regulations for fire prevention measures and supervision. We expect that the above points will be implemented and followed.
