Service buildings
We offer two modern service buildings that are well equipped to meet various needs. The service buildings include, among other things, accessible toilets and showers, regular toilets, showers, as well as a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, and stove.
Facilities
In both service buildings, you will also find a kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, and access to extra hot water.
Access and access cards
To use the service buildings, you need an access card. These access cards can be purchased at the reception. Seasonal guests have the option to add funds to their access cards either online or directly at the reception.
Costs
The accommodation fee includes access to the service building. In addition, extra charges apply for the use of showers, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, and the kitchen with hot water. Please see Prices for the various services.
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance of the service buildings are carried out regularly to ensure good hygiene and comfort for everyone. We encourage guests to take responsibility by cleaning up after themselves and showing consideration, so everyone can have a pleasant experience when using the facilities.
Environmental station
Help us take care of the environment :)
Kolbensrød Camping has established an environmental station at the main entrance to the area.
This solution prevents heavy trucks from driving inside the campsite, which helps increase safety for children and reduces both noise and odors during your stay.
Only household waste may be disposed of here.
The waste station is under video surveillance.
All other types of waste must be delivered to the waste station in Larvik.
We encourage you to sort your waste carefully so we can manage it as efficiently as possible.
Please also remember this when your children bring trash— they may not always be sure where and how it should be disposed of.
Although the distance to the environmental station means a slightly longer walk for waste disposal, this is an appropriate measure that ensures comfort and safety on the premises.
The recycling station is equipped with containers for:
Mixed waste – residual waste

Glass and metal packaging
Cardboard, paper and carton
Mixed waste
Mixed waste is residual waste that is not suitable for recycling or must be sorted before recycling.
Glass and metal packaging
Clear or colored bottle glass or other glass packaging, tin cans, metal lids, and other metal packaging.
Food waste
Food waste and wet organic waste collected from all industries that produce food waste.
Food waste should be sorted into separate food waste bags—preferably double-bagged for items like shrimp shells, etc.
Paper, cardboard and carton
Paper, cardboard, and cartons in various forms.

Parking
Parking is available on the area to the right before the barriers—please refer to our site map for further details. Parking within the site is permitted, provided that your vehicle is parked within the designated area. It is not allowed to park vehicles in a way that blocks fire lanes. This is important to maintain accessibility and ensure the safety of all visitors.
Kolbensrød Camping uses an automatic license plate recognition system for collecting parking fees.
We encourage all visitors to familiarize themselves with the current rules to prevent misunderstandings.
All users are required to pay the established fees. The area is clearly marked for permitted and non-permitted parking, and several payment options are available—see below.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
1) Prepay on the machine
You pay for at least the amount of time you plan to park, and if you stay longer than that, the extra time will be charged afterward.
2) Pay within 48 hours
Pay the parking fee with a payment card or Vipps at www.youpark.no within 48 hours. Search for your vehicle using its license plate number. By registering as a user, your payment card will be saved, allowing payments to be processed automatically the next time you use the facility.
3) Invoice
If a car is parked without further action, an invoice with a fee will be issued if payment is not made within the 48-hour deadline. Outstanding claims will be invoiced to the identified owner of the vehicle, with an additional charge of NOK 12 for the invoice fee and NOK 59 for lookup costs, totaling NOK 71.
4) Subscription
Subscriptions can be purchased for the specified period at the listed price. It is recommended to make the purchase through the provider’s website www.youpark.no . The subscription must be purchased in advance, that is, before you park. It is not possible to register parking on a subscription retrospectively; in that case, you will need to pay according to the regular rates and terms for single visits.

Electric vehicle chargers
Kolbensrød Camping has 4 electric vehicle chargers with a charging capacity of 22 kWh available on site.
The chargers are located next to the transformer kiosk between sections 2 and 3.
